Wenlock Edge Mosses

Plenty of life exists on the windy rock outcrop - a close look at the ground around the viewing point. This goes on while humans wander about. Posted by Picasa

Wenlock Edge Shropshire

O n the way home from Church Stretton and Ludlow the road follows the spine of Wenlock Edge - a fast road (for motorcyclists - and dangerous)
Some stopping off places worth a quick stop and a good pub that does meals - we must go back soon. Here's a view north-west - this is a regular stop. Posted by Picasa

The Burway above Church Stretton Shropshire

Ever so slightly scary road journey to this place is well worth it. See for miles of South Shropshire and Wales.

We had some food and drink in the car one afternoon - a regular get-away and easy too. a fw times I've taken 2m, 70cm and even 50mhz radios but not really worked many people, yet.

This view looks towards Church Stretton town and in the distance, I think its the Malvern hills. Posted by Picasa

Alleys in Ludlow

Ludlow has quiet little alleyways which often have some shops that you think just can't get any customers.

Its not so good a place to park in, for car drivers - I think they desperately need tto have some joined up thinking in thier parking ideas. An out of town park with buses or convenient walks - there is plenty of places - just routing traffic through town is inconvenient for drivers and walkers alike. Posted by Picasa

A fine day in Ludlow

A pleasant little place in Southern Shropshire
Some where that hasn't been to infected by modern shopping methods. Easy to walk and an outdoor market on Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays from my knowledge.

A one in a while type place. Posted by Picasa
