This is the view - down river (Severn) I had where I did my radio contesting - you can see the World Heritage Ironbridge around central to the photo, Hodge Bower is on the left and the distant middle right on a hill is Broseley. I hope to do plenty more contests cfrom here. In radio terms its not the best, but its a good walk and a lovely view.

I took my small radio and a vhf aerial and other stuff and had a couple of hours sunny contesting. Only 23 contacts, but plenty of distance across England and Wales - I did here GI, F, ON, GM and some others but this was a first and I've learned a few things about operating. Nice morning though - Hi to the folk who came past while I was there.

I was trying to do some Open University work and the cat Mac decided to push his way on my lap - then bit me when I tried to type - so I grabbed the phonecamera and snapped his un-chuffedness. I've sent this to lolcats.
