phone laws..
I feel that this 0800 useage and abuseage - caller robots and plain old lack of (easy) identification is a plain old misuse of power and technology unbalancing the system where citizens should have fair means to make judgements in a capitalist system.
A change in the law aught to be called for in that:
- Only private citizens should be allowed to hide their numbers.
- Any organisation attempting to hide itself through none-traceable numbers or only traceable via paid-for technique should be subject to some legal constraint.
- Any organisation outside the country hiding itself through similar techniques should be subject to immense line use taxation via the tellecomms carriers.
What do people think of that?
