It took three flights from Birmingham (BHM) to Tromso (sorry I can't make this editor use the correct 'o' BHM to Copenhagen, ..to Oslo on to Troms. This Hurtigruten cruise at probably the wrong time of the year, but I hoped to see the northern lights - Wishing for it made the lights not appear..

First day was in Troms - the weather way grey and wet - about the same temp as the UK. Oslo was much colder despite being lower lattitude. We had a look around old town - then walked past the Nerstranda Senter - a shopping centre much the same as everywhere else in western world - warm/dry and more fashionable goods on sale After - Suddenly a demo in support of the Palestinians collected - the terrible situation which proves that loaded dice will always make the ordinary human the loser.
